Chemofluidic circuits is a technology platform that enables the precise control of chemical and biological processes within microscopic liquid volumes.
Just as electronic circuits guide the flow of electrons, chemofluidic circuits guide the flow of liquids. With the same high precision, but at the scale of microscopic droplets and the complexity of chemistry.
There’s no external controller telling these systems what to do. Instead, every component (such as pumps and valves) is built from smart materials that sense the conditions around them.
By giving fluids the ability to behave and act on their own, we’re moving diagnostics into the hands of anyone, anywhere, faster and safer.

Self-sufficiently and with complete automation of microfluidic processes.
(from sample absorption and reaction control to analysis and detection)
This circuits move, dose, lyse, wash, and amplify nucleic acids, executing an entire sample preparation workflow within a single system.
By linking different components, Diamics builds autonomous fluidic logic circuits that handle biological samples like saliva with sub-microliter precision.
We integrate advanced material science, microfluidics, and circuit design and innovate a platform for fully autonomous, independent analytical systems.
diamics utilizes isothermal nucleic acid detection strategies (in particular loop-mediated isothermal amplification [LAMP]) together with colorimetric read-out methods.
In this context, diamics developed and patented a modified LAMP technology (iLAMP) that enables the specific detection of single-nucleotide variations in nucleic acids, including single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). The assay allows the detection results to be visualized directly by a color change.

No complicated temperature control.
No complex equipment required.
Faster (no heating/cooling periods)
